Sorry to type English instead of Chinese for quicker response.
My daugther actually learnt piano s ... Learning a musical instrument can be fun in the beginning but the higher grade you reach, the more demanding it is in terms of technique, expression, tone quality, etc. which means practice, practice and practice.
We parents believe that quality practice makes perfect and it's just logical that in order for the child to excel, practice is a must. So we make sure they practice, enter them in competitions to help overcome stage fright, make them perform to build up confidence, enter them in exams for measurable achievement, etc. But is it what the child want? Unless the child has a passion for music and also strives for excellence, all these can be stressful and can make the child lose interest, quickly.
I would say, find something that interests your child. Is there any song or music that she likes? Perhaps you can download the music score for her to play. Find an instrument that gives her satisfaction and pleasure. Is there opportunity for her to play with a friend?
