My daughter was not very good with language when she is in primary school. She was lucky to find a good English tutor in P6 and helped all her to improve all her English subjects once she is in Form 1. But her Chinese is always bad, even we find many Chinese tutors. She doesn't want to study chinese, so plan to go to UK. but later, we decide if she gets a 3 in DSE in chinese but get 5** in Engilsh and Eng Lit (which she has confident in), she can get into University in Hong Kong. Save lots of MONEY!!!!

Chinese is also my son's problem. His teacher said because my son's hand writing very hard to see, he have to meet "5" but grade for him will be a "3" in Chinese. He did recommend us also consider to have exam in DSE and A level. I just worry about if it is too hard for him.

I don't think it's that HARD to get a "3". Start training him as soon as possible. With language learning, always good to start young!!!
