ESF Beacon Hill v American International School, which one is better? AIS allows my kid to start a year later so that my kid is the oldest in class but ESF doesn't accommodate that hence my kid will be the youngest in class at ESF. Which one would you take?

Which month is your kid born in?

It is hard to say which one is better.  Do you want your child to study in IB or the American curriculum? What is the reason that AIS allows your child to start a year later? Do they feel your child is not ready for the grade that he/she will be in?

ESF Beacon Hill = AIS >American International

Boy or girl?  if girl not born after Sept, it should be not a huge problem in my experience.  anyway, AIS is good.

esf會順應小朋友的年齡發展，老師亦清楚在低年班，1月份同12月份的小朋友根本不應一起去比較，而只會評估每一個小朋友的發展是否符合的自己年齡段的要求。所以不覺得需要推遲一年入學。

You have to study the curriculum of IB and AP thoroughly before you make a choice. Even if you choose a school which does not fit your kid, you can switch to your favorite school later. However, the kid would need a lot of adjustment if you change the curriculum later.
