CCKG 出路少，沒什麼東西學，主要是要求多看書。不會給功課回家做

在剛過的假期在一個小朋友生日會認識了一個CCKG的家長與一班CCKG K3的學生，可以給大家一些資料：

1. 今年K3共有33個女孩有DGJS的offer,比去年多了2個。DBSPS共有22個offer， 比去年少了幾個，不過差不多。今年 K3共有42男41女（有一個女去了CIS，少了一個）。男仔另有3個有Co-ed Offer,  4個LaSalle ( so far).

2. 每天只有中文功課， K2每天4行生字，K3多點， 生字，作句，讀書報告，周記都有，但分開給的。英文沒有功課回家的。

3. 每週有一本中文及一本英文及一本自己揀的圖書。

4. 中文每天30分鐘， 其他科目用英語（English， Religious Knowledge，Science）

5. 這位家長對現在的校長Miss Tammy Chan 有些不滿，認為她把K3的中文突然變得太深。而這位校長是空降的， 她女女剛剛K2,K3都是她，2016會離開，CCKG又沒有校長了。又說她常常奇裝異服，一點校長的風範也沒有，英語又不流利，又不認識孩子，對孩子漠不關心。 今年的K2是她在位選的， 家長的修養很有問題，有些沒有禮貌，連招呼也不打，行為很自私，家長都不身教，孩子沒有禮貌得很。

這位家長共有三個孩子， 1仔2女， 今年K3的是小女， 她說CCKG比兒子的年代（Mrs Fielding） 時真的有很大的距離，這位校長把CCKG在兩年間拖低了很多。

這次生日會是朋友邀請的， 因為我女女也進了DGJS，她們說讓她們認識下。以下是我對這班CCKG學生的觀感：

1. 開朗：不論男女，他們非常開朗。
2. 英語流利： 在party中，他們多是以英語交流， 我女兒的母語是英文，所以好像在國際學校中。
3. 孩子很有禮貌： 整整4個小時沒有吵架的聲音，只有笑聲，同學很友愛，對我女兒沒分黨分派， 連家長也很open. 我不停問他們問題， 他們不停的解答。問他們有關DGJS的事情， 他們會與我分享。
4. 他們對校長的評價非常負面， 我好像沒有聽到一句好話。不過她都唔做了，不過今年K2或今年考了哪些孩子可能有點影響。不竟校長只做兩年就唔做，這兩年的學生是可憐一點的。

以上是我本人在4個小時的party 看到及聽到的觀感， 是我個人的觀感而已。 我在DGJS interview時看到有一個CCKG的學生看Whimpy Kid （在另一版有提及，還有家長說很淺的書）,英語如外國人般流利，我這次真的親眼看到聽到。

Maybe Ms Chan has the Chinese curriculum changed to a relatively more difficult level so as to meet the current requirement of P1 Chinese. However, even after such a change, the standard of Chinese in cckg is still not comparable to that in kv and other famous kindergartens. Thus, the change conducted by Ms Chan is full of good will, but such a change may have touched the benefits of existing parties or made an offence to those parents who think English is of supreme importance but Chinese is not important at all as their kids may study abroad eventually.  
The English fluency of Ms Chan may not be as good as that of a Caucasioan as she is not an NET but it doesn't mean she cannot be a good principal!
My friend whose boy is in K3 in cckg feels very sorry for the coming departure of Ms Chan and a lot of her cckg whatsapp group parents share the same sorrow. Her comments in exact wording: cckg 真是有零星狗眼看人低的蓝血人（自認的）Also, the number of girls admitted by dgsjs remains steadily high and that of boys admitted by dbsps increases significantly after the service of Ms Chan! Her final comment: Ms Chan 是個做實事的人，我们感謝她！

how so?

I have heard some people complain about rich showy parents,  or PRC parents at other kindergartens, but only hear neutral things about CCKG parents.

I am of impression that most parents are all normal professionals,  or businessmen.   Nothing tycoon $$ chink chink type.
