如果有加拿大籍，去多倫多讀公立中學，
請問 :
1. 學校可以安排寄宿或寄宿家庭嗎？
2. 住宿每年多少元?
3. 其他雜費每年多少元?

讀公立是免費的。我都打算送女兒去讀高中。不過最好year9即係我吔F3去讀

i heard if only the child is going back to study (without parents staying with him/her), you have to pay oversea student fees. Not fee of charge.

You might be right. Usually the schools will arrange host families for visa students. If your kid will enrol as local student, you need to arrange accomodation at your own.

我老爺奶奶住North York ,
果邊是有地址的 ,
所以入公校一定無問題。
只是怕老爺奶奶年齡大 ,
怕照顧吾到囡囡 ,
所以問下住宿費多少元 ,
平衡下各利幣。

除了必需的學費及住宿費外，你們預多少其他雜費/生活開支一年？
醫療保險如何安排？

如果讓女兒今年返加讀書，她也是Grade 10.

BC省有呢個規定。安省就無呢個規定。其他省吾清楚。但加拿大系實施Trust and honest system,系BC省如果你declare父或母會留底同小朋友一齊，佢吾會查你。

I went to the Canadian education fair couple months ago and talked to a guy from the Canada school board, he told me as long as the child is alone studying in Canada without one of the parent, then need to pay oversea student fee, does not matter the child is studying in public school or private school.

My colleague's friends have children studying in Canada with the parents and did not pay oversea student fee, the children got expelled from school.

It is up to you if you want to take the risk or not.
