It has one of the better and bigger ESL programs in Hong Kong, hence it has less native English speaking children compared to other international schools.

Yew Chung has an English Intensive Program for students who do not meet the normal English standards.

ICHK's Hong Lok Yuen campus also provides EAL/ESL support program.
