It should be Edexcel board,
which month in 2016 will have GCE A-Level Chinese Language exam ?
Which form will your kids be studying by that time when sitting for this examination ? I know most students from H.K. may take this examination earlier than upper 6.
Hi Ruby 1219,
Thanks your advice.
Was it difficult for a Y.10 student to sit for GCE A-Level Chinese Language ? How long time did you son prepare for such examination.
my daughter did GCSE Chinese in Yr 10 & A-level Chinese in Yr 11 together with others GCSE subjects.....she is now in Yr 12....but A-level Chinese do not help in applying UK U....only useful for non-jupas for Chinese qualification....
I am also thinking to let my son sit for one GCE A-Level exam instead of AS & A2 two exams. However, I am not sure how difficult it will be, whether sit for it while in Y11 or Y12.
Is there any parents would share your experience or advice.
I can't comment on the difficulty as I never look at the papers. But I guess it is not difficult as my son is from international schools in hk since kindergarten, he can still manage to get A & A* for AS and A2 Chinese, by taking one private tuition per week for a year at his UK school.
Dear Ruby 1219,
I understand the AS & A2 cannot be taken in the same year. Do you mean that your son took AS in Y 10 Autumn term and then A2 in Y10 Summer term ?
