Ah, I've been through this myself.
As long as the passport holder, i.e., the person who is British by descent, has lived in the UK for 3 yrs plus, his/her children can be registered as British by descent. However, if the passport holder and the child are currently living in the UK, then after 3 years, the child can be registered as British other than by descent, meaning that the citizenship can be passed on to the next generation. |
