SFA / 九龍灣St Joe / 德雅

其實我想知道三間的英語水平是否很相近?  邊間最深?  哪間英文科的教學成效最高 (例如 :老師教得最好 / 課程設計有系統)


有無以上三間學校的用家可發表意見,  讓我參考.  謝謝!

My son used to study in St Jo but has transferred to SFA.  I can tell the level of English taught of both is more or less the same but the standard of students of the latter is obviously higher.
If I had a choice between St Jo and Tak Nga, I would definitely go for the former.

你的小朋友現時仍在 SFA 讀書嗎??  我見有人在EK講 SFA 準備 Ipad 化, 你有無從學校中獲得任何訊息? 是否真有其事?  

另外, 我很想知道, SFA 的功課量是否明顯比 St. Joe 多??? (我好想好想知道呢個問題, 好影響我揀邊間!)

你的小朋友在兩間學校分別用多少時間做功課?

Yes my son is studying in SFA.  iPad will be used starting from P3.

Homework in SFA is much heavier.  The amount of time spent on homework varies.  He can finish it within 2 hours if nothing distracts him.

Can you elaborate more on using ipad ? Is it to be used to replace all paper worksheets ?

The main point is exactly "if nothing distracts..."!  My daughter can be easily distracted. Besides, both my wife and me go home late after work. 2 hours for doing homework may become 4 hours. I have difficulty in making final decision among SFA, KRS, possibly Pui Kiu and TSL.

If parents go home late, that will be a concern unless your kid is very self-disciplined or you will have to sacrifice the kid's sleeping time.

St. Jo係好學校，特色是，谷，較嚴，男校，要俾$。
另外我想提的是老師嚴，但我個仔P.1班主任嚴得黎有愛心，重非常有heart想教好d仔，對住d仔，耐性少d都唔惦


開頭以為校長好嚴，但我個仔小息都會自動波去聽校長講聖經故事，所以我都改觀。

至於功課量，我阿仔算快手，所以感覺唔算多。但比較過其它校，程度算深。
其實如果你有留意開EK，就會知St.Jo的升中頗强的，有九華、SJC、和其它B1。
再者，插班去其他校亦唔少，證明佢學術有番咁上下(上年有去SPB, YW, etc)。

以你經驗，St. Joe要考第幾名先有機派位上「聖言」？

St. Joe仔如出外揾食(SJC、QC、Kings、La Salle、華仁、SPC、英華)，校內第幾名先有機會(即中學考慮學生成績次第的影響)？

咁你覺得 St Joe 在小一, 小二的時候,  英文是否教得有系統?  一般學生在英文科上是否需要家長大量支援?

我覺得st jo 英文教得幾好，不過要突圍當然要家長支援。
