想報ACT ，但原來有with writing 和 without writing 給選擇，應該點揀？美國大學喜歡邊種？
請賜教！

好視乎你想考嗰間大學嘅要求，之前大部分大學都要求ACT with writing，因為舊SAT本身有essay writing，所以都會要求ACT要考埋writing，但2016新SAT 改為optional essay，有部分學校已更改要求，如打算2016暑假後入學，可能考埋穩陣啲

其實有些反應快嘅大學已經更改了2017年入學申請要求，可參考以下Cornell新要求：

Will Cornell require the Optional Essay section on the new SAT?
No. Cornell University will not require students to submit the Optional Essay as part of the new SAT.

Will Cornell require the Writing section of the ACT for students applying for freshman admission?
Beginning with the entering Class of 2016, Cornell University will also no longer require the Writing section of the ACT for students applying for freshman admission.

When will the redesigned SAT be first administered?
The first administration of the redesigned SAT will be in spring 2016. The first cohort of students to primarily take the redesigned SAT will be the entering class of 2017 (Class of 2021).

請問ACT是否都好似SAT一樣，大學會睇晒所有score ，所以最好唔好考咁多次？

美國學校好唔鍾意學生用操練或背誦方式去應付考試，所以無論SAT或ACT都唔建議考太多次，因為會造成操練嘅錯覺，而且有部分大學會要求申請人呈交每次考試成績，除非考生每次考試都有明顯進步，否則應準備充足後才去應試
