Mills International 收到offer

收到Mills既offer，想等埋其他先決定，但佢要我在2 Nov前比$$$，$970 registration fee + $7000 refundable levy (refundable when complete at least 1 whole academic year)，有冇人同我情況一樣？

之前已經去咗綠恩翠恩interview，學之園要3月先有interview，應該點做呢？

我就係因為果HKD7,000 "Refundable Levy" struggle 到今日, 我月中已經收到offer, 我已經send 過email 去問, 但佢地堅持要收, 但明明下年8月先返學, 如果真係讀就真係冇所謂, 其實都好鍾意間學校, 但如果有其他offer 就冇左7千, 太多了...所以, 我剛剛email 左比學校話唔take 個offer 啦

$7,000作為後備就太多，除非唸住一定讀。

如果大家都咁諗就得，我覺得$9xx registration fee 都仲可以，但$7000真係太多，如果冇人理佢既話佢連$9xx registration fee 都收唔到。

I got Mills AM offer too, but i don't agree to pay for the $7k levy, if i pay, that means i have to give up other interviews as i have to study for at least 1 academic year, which is a bit unfair. I understand that they are new and they want to CONFIRM the number of students that will study at there... so i turned down the offer.... although i love the environment and curriculum.... to be honest, their school fee not cheap, $6300 plus another $15xx school bus.....more expensive to study uni...... and i will get my helper to pick her up from school, road outside a bit steep i reckon.... a bit dangerous during rainny day....

Exactly. I believe you can always get a place there throughout the year so there is no need to pay the levy now. Where do you live and do you have any other alternatives beside Mills?

I live in TKO .... to be honest, i quite like the school environment...... just don't wanna limit ourselves.... i also applied Ling Liang, Creative, Cannan, Think in Lam Tin. Greenville, Greenfield, Deborah and LH in TKO ar.... you??

Ling Liang, creative and cannon are in Lam Tin which is far away from TKO (not as far as Kowloon Tong but still need to travel by MTR or shuttle bus). Most importantly I don't think they are better than those PN in TKO (just my opinion)

I like Lam Tin Ling Liang..... but not others in Lam Tin.... i paid the reg fee for Deborah in TKO... yes now need to wait for LH interview which will be in next March...
Mills rang me again and asked why i didn't accept the offer..... i said because of that $7k lor... haha

How did they reply re the 7k?

they said they r not the same as other school, they wanna make sure those kids are confirmed to come..... i said i understand, but most of the parents will wanna see more different schools so can make sure their final decision for their kids r correct.... anyway.... i said i will think but 1 week is a bit too short..... even i like the school, i won't give up other potential schools to be honest.
