To be honest, there are lots of international students, mostly from Hong Kong. (Also Russians, Nigerians, Thais) However, you can barely hear other languages apart from English because we can only speak English in the boarding house.
I really enjoying learning here because the teachers are very helpful. I studied history, BAFS, Economics in F4 last year and start studying Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Double Mathematics in Y12 this year. I have almost forgot every thing about science and found those science subjects quite daunting to me. I am glad that my teachers always help these lack-behind students like me after class
Every Thursday we have a further education talk. It is to get us prepared for universities interviews and UCAS. EAL lessons are always available for students who need help in English.
What I like about Badminton is that the school always provides lotsl of opportunities for us. There are lots of extra activities such as the Law Club, the Debate Club, Leiths' Cookery Course, Greek, Latin, Psychology short course, DOE, hockey and pilates. We can take part in different competitions, and programmes held by top unis such as UCL. This will sure help building CV for universities application.
It is hard to compare my old school in HK and Badminton because they are very different. Different students, teachers, and environment. :D
