me too.  Though very happy my son can also get a place at St. Jo.  Same as you, since the kinder he's attending now is also very good and he really enjoys the school life, it is really hard to decide whether we should stay or change.

    我囝囝都考到St.Joseph,非常開心,但也有好多疑惑究竟讀唔讀好,因為佢宜家讀緊維多利亞,十分之enjoy返學,我擔心幫佢轉st. jo後佢會無宜家咁開心......所以好頭痛!!
     請問你哋的囝囝宜家讀邊間幼稚園呀??你哋係咪都會交咗留位費先再詳細考慮呢??

My son failed too but my friend's son who is a small boy (born in december) also succeeded.  My friend said the school might use the point system to make decision, i.e, if the boy's father is an old boy of st. jo or the boy's brother is studying there or you have religious mark, then you will have a higher chance to get in.

Don't miss this chance ah......  I will definite let my child study in St. Jo. if he can be admitted by this school.

No need to think too much la, children have strong ability to adjust to new environment and situation.

各位,

其實最煩係面試時,咁大隻字寫名不會可以直升上小學,又加上現家讀梗個間見佢幾開心，但係St.Joseph又係一間幾出名學校，真係好難缺定。
唔知大家知不知道佢校車最遠去到邊?學費幾多錢?

咁橋看了另一個topic about am 返一間kinder, pm 返另一間kinder, 諗起既然大家都咁煩轉唔轉, 不如am返St. Joseph, pm返而家間kinder.

My son also got a seat.

Is there any St. Jo parent? Please share its teaching model. For example, will there a lot of writing / homework? dictation? and how's the english standard?

I'm still struggling whether to take it.

Hello honghong_ma,
which kinder is your son attending now? Would you feel embarrasing when later you should tell the teachers / principal of his existing kinder that you will change school?  Since my son's teachers 好錫佢.  I feel that I will be very 唔好意思. 唉...點算呢?

BTW, since I was very busy on 3 May so my mother went to see the results on behalf and she copied the registration details.  I just wish to confirm is the registration day 12 May (this Thur.), 1 day only ??
