ESF's 13% bilingual diploma is higher than SIS's 11%.  That is a surprise to me.

the shanghai elites are from different league. their PISA scores are way higher than the other countries, which means on average, they learn half or a whole year ahead of their peers elsewhere. and they are ultra competitive.

esf 九百幾人修IB, 科目多, 沒有限制學生為分數而選, 例如某一學校去年一百六十人, 有約十個選法文, 有約20選西班牙文, 他們當中大部份是中國香港人, 如他們修中文外語, 一定7, 但他們明知6都難取(按一直學校數據, 外國人好多扮外語取了所有7, 正如香港人扮外語取中文7), 他們仍可以為了興趣選修, 學校亦不勸阻. 高級數學亦然, 對某些同學不需要修讀高級(大學目標學系沒有數學要求), 亦隨便修讀, 高級數都開到兩班.
本人會評為ESF是真IB(補充:當中有兩間校方都為潛質狀元限制選科, 步入假IB), 某些學校是假IB, 第一只容許最TOP的學生修讀, 第二如想讀醫, 一式一樣, HL CHEM BIO 中文外語, 原校老師教學及加班補習狂谷特別醫生組.

本人對IB有些少認識, 對某些同學取得四十幾分, 但不是修EASY組合如中文外語, 會讚賞, 其實他們是有能力做狀元的,  但他們為學習而不是為考試分數, 而且他們是勇敢的! 我亦認識好幾個取得四十幾分包括有狀元而沒有任何補習, 亦要比他們LIKE.
學生們會為自己完成IB感到人生富裕, 因當中過程豐富, 不是我們家長著重的分數, 狀元數目, 我可以肯定, 如大家訪問狀元們, 他們只覺得天時地利人和學校選中造就, 沒有什麼了不起,  他們亦懂得欣賞其他較低分同學, 正正是IB理念.

There are 322 students getting the perfect 45 globally this year.  The probability of becoming the elite 壯元 is 100% higher than the local DSE exam.  Aussie still has the most elite perfect 45 IB students (all public schools don't allow IB neither).

My bad there are only 120 perfect 45 students in 2015.  I read last years report.  The probability of becoming the perfect 45 students in IB was 4 times higher than the local DSE.

Using the word "probability" is absurd. You do not get a 45 by random.

Agree with you. numbers can be misleading and the announced result may be due to selecting top students to study IB
