At the end of the day it really depends on the family and the child. Ask yourself the following questions:
1) Is an academic vigorous program more important than well rounded development?
2) Is lots of homework in early years acceptable or preferred for the development of the child?
3) Does the child require more structure and is not too self motivated?
4) Is the child not too interested in sports or arts, or that the family has no strong intention to develop the child in those aspects?
5) Is learning Chinese crucial for the child?
6) Did the parents (you and your spouse) grow up in the Hong Kong education system at least most of your primary and part of your secondary education, and you do not find it appalling?
7) Is most of the families' friends and connections based in Hong Kong?
If more than half of the answers are 'yes', I have a feeling that perhaps ISF is a better fit, if not, than consider staying in CDNIS. |
