唔識中文，入唔入到傳統小學？

唔記得边位網友分享过，要掌握到—个語言，每曰要有某个%(好似係40%?)既時间浸係果个語言度，撇除8hr瞓教，即每曰要有6~7hrs接触中文？如要到母語程度，呢个比例就更高｡如每日教—两个鈡，其餘時间都係英文，我諗只能達到学到皮毛(好过無)，但要应付hk小—課程，会辛苦｡

美國D 學校有中文讀, 當然好淺, 是2ND LANGUAGE. 讀咗一定追唔到HK學校的中文程度. 但有心, 自己教, 多D 讀中文故事書, 我諗應該無問題.

我個FD在美國,  兒子六歲前, 在家一定唔講英文, 只講中文, 亦淨係同小朋友看中文書, 所以佢個仔, 係識中文, 當然中文程度唔可以同同齡HK兒童比較.

我有親人是ABC仔, 佢媽很注重中文, 在家不說英文,  另一早出去補, 但一到8-9歲已冇心機學, 識說中文但其它就野一般.  

如樓主個到時回港中文又不太追到, 可以考慮入陳守仁一類的英小(傳統學校), 有特別淺的中文課程給非主流"英法學生", 會易追些.

請問陳守仁這間學校好唔好？香港多不多這類學校可選擇？同埋中文程度低d會否影響第時升中？

陳守仁此類是較熱門的直資, 所以在教學方式可以有些彈性在算傳統的學制外去安排不同於主流的課程, 且因為收較多%不同種類的Non-Chinese, 會有些似國際學校, 回流又不考慮國際學校的都是另一選擇.  香港會有另一些.  

中文程度低d會否影響第時升中, 我想選擇肯定會少些, 聽說 SPco-ed 都要收中文達他們標的. 不會有免費午餐.

You should try letting your child repeat K3 in a Chinese Kindergarten.  I am returning to HK with my children this summer (from Europe)... my eldest going into K3 this September.  I am doing half an hour of Chinese with him each day at home... practise writing... and teaching him to recognise words...  :)

It is entirely do-able.  Just take it easy.  Given that you are asking the question now, you have 3 years to slowly add Chinese into your child's routine.  :)  If your child is born after September, there will be plenty of Kindergarten who will take him into K3.

By the way, we speak 3 languages in our home (mainly English), I am the ONLY person who speak to my children in Cantonese and the ONLY person teaching them Chinese.  

I have only started to teach my eldest son Chinese this Feb... formally to write.  He is already ahead of the cirriculum set by the kindergarten in HK (where we are already registered to start this Sept).  When it comes to writing... for boys, I would say it's better to wait a little longer than reading.  The pattern of learning is Listening, speaking, reading, writing.  Writing comes last.  There is no point forcing your son to write when his hand muscles are not developed.  You can play games and do cutting and painting or drawing to help strengthen his hand muscles.  But of course practise makes perfect... you can just do everything by drill.... lots of lots and lots of writing... it WILL develope the child's hand muscle.... but buy some ear muffs before you do that, there will be lots of shouting and fighting...

On the other hand, if you are able to find ways to see how your child learns and how to make the child excited about learning... you will have the most preciously time with your child... and will wonder why you would EVER want to send your child to school!!!

Or if you have a submissive child... then your child will be ok... cos you will be able to make sure your child learns whatever you think the child needs...

I would highly recommend that you enjoy being out of the HK system and try and understand how and why the Americans do things differently and make a fusion way to teach your child...  the Chinese way has its merits and so does the American/European way....  :)  Take advantage of the time you have, being out of the system so that you can make the best of both worlds...  :)  Enjoy!

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, it will be a great opportunity to explore and experience the education system of other country. My kid will attend k3 when we come back HK , at least he can have one year to prepare for P1.

我囡囡就係小一時先回港讀傳統小學， 佢細個都係番左一年中文班， 但你唔好期望外國嘅中文班學到d乜， 初頭讀一年班就緊係追得辛苦，第一次考試有一part都唔合格有見過家長，但老師都好understand, 叫我多d同佢睇書， 考第二次前就狂粗閱讀理解。 so far而家3年班中文已經向班嘅中上， 好多時我唔識寫都問番佢。 希望可以比到個希望你

我覺得可以讀傳統小學，爸媽是懂中文的，小一生有些初初只懂冩自己名字及—些單字，後來入B1中學，小朋友學野好快，外國人都學中文！！

我諗首先, 你要了解香港教育制度先　！　
一般香港出生永久居民一定有書讀的，升小派位制度（官津校）是跟住址，不是幼稚園　！
至於直資／私立小學一直ｋ２（４歲半左右）下學期開始考，
自己睇／想清楚邊一ｄ學校是合適兒子，再去想吧 !

做d功課啦 !

同意, 學語言一定要浸
樓主可以考慮跟囝囝每日伴讀, 日子有功, 會見到成果

唔好講我哋當年啦, 我哋當年小一中文書只係 "花, 一朵紅花, 這是一朵紅花", 依家係測驗3篇閱讀理解, 佔40%, 小一作文已經要作70-80字, 真係死未！
