i've written 4 letters to 2 dragon schools and finally got call waiting from one of it.   i think it's no harm to keep writing to school to show your interest.  there's even space after school start as some parents will try out two kinder in the first month and make their final decision one month after school starts.  so if you've some target school better keep calling/ writing to them there maybe something unexected happens.  good luck!
