其實Montessori的教材你可以自己做, 我有一本書係教點樣做的~~ 買就真係太貴啦~~~

另外, Montessori的教材真係幾好, 因為佢相信小朋友樣樣都要模下感受下先會學到野~~

I'm interested in Montessori, can u tell me the name of book for preparing the materials by myself... to buy from outside is really expensive...

my bb is only 8 months old, is it too early to start?

I have used the materials. Very very good but too expensive as you said.. But... i have no time to made the materials myself....

There're several books on Montessori teaching. Two that I thought were better (for myself & my child) are:

Montessori Read & Write by Lynne Lawrence
Montessori Play & Learn by Lesley Britton

I bought them over a year ago in the bookstore on Queens Road Central (sorry I forgot the name of the store but it's a small bookstore near I.T.). I also saw these and other Montessori books in other bookstores - they're generally pretty easy to find.

One friendly reminder is that no matter what method you use to teach your child, make sure both you & your child are having fun and always end the lesson when (or before!) they want to stop!
