Applied for year 1 last year, but no chance to interview. Just received letter to interview. Is it just a procedure or I've got high chance now? Thanks a lot

It is a genuine chance, go for it.
With the ever increasing number of applicants to international schools, why would they cause extra work for themselves by fooling around with applicants they have no intention to admit? They don't have the time for it :)

They will only ask you for interview when theres vacancy.  Its solid chance.  Good Luck!

they also invited my daughter to their interview (reserve list) next week, really looking forward to their offer, although I don't know what reserve list means exactly

Normally an offer could be given quickly after the interview. If the lucky family do not make payment in 3 days, the seat will be given to another child.
So u are now in waiting list and the chance is not high.
Get prepared to the worst scenario.

ESF is having Easter break, so bear in mind that the news won't come out until they resume school

We were verbally admitted immediately after the interview back in two years ago.

Oh things have been changed, the principal said parents will be informed on Friday(yesterday) the earliest or early next week.
