We applied for pre reception. Just got a letter today. It says unable for a placement in 2015/2016. However, you are welcome to reapply for 2016/17. Do you guys receive the same message pls?

that's what I got. I presumed that means my child didn't pass the assessment

For all parents who applied to pre-reception, try again next year at reception. Never give up!

Of course there are...And this year given the bad publicity I have a feeling the chance of getting in from the waiting pool may be higher.

You may read from some posts in bk or geobaby, there were spots available for student in the wait list pool. Usually in April. My hubby's boss gal got in prep in wait list last year.
