I want to know too, some of the parents say it is not good at all (Band 3), only the school environment and facilities is new. But some of them say it is quite good. Anyone have comments?
My son is studying in Tai Koo. He has a very happy school life. The teaching is quite lively esp English. Some of the English lessons are divided into two groups to make the lessons more interactive. My son loves English the most. Some teachers are quite old style but experienced. The homework load is very reasonable. (There are copying but not excessive). The school have reading sessions every morning and lots of chances to borrow books from school library. I can see the school is thriving to improve and implement the education reform. There are one test and one exam each semester; one chin dict each week. English dict are held weekly and sometimes biweekly. No tests other than the aforesaid. The academic standard is not very high but the most important thing is my son has been enjoying his school life and is learning something right for his age. At the same time, he can have time to participate other activities to have a balanced childhood life. See if this is what you want?
