2. 無壓力, 少功課, 課程淺
3. 提高英語能力,  
4. 欺凌問題不多

呢間OK嗎?

因小朋友現讀LOCAL幼稚園, 他很不開心, 太多功課, 學校太嚴.

係啦. 我地以前有個NEWZEALAND和SINGAPORE來米又係唔識教.  反而有個SINGAPORE老華僑教得好叻, 好實用.(但唔夠考試用).   如果只為應付香港考試, 一定係LOCAL老師好D啦.  D鬼都覺得我地d 考試好crazy. 點教你呀.

你米照講囉, 我地會自行判斷你既說話架啦.  討論本來就是表達大家感覺, 意見.  就算有反駁, 我們都識看是die hard fans 式反駁定係理性反駁.

聽聞ANFIELD 係行 BRITISH CURRICULUM, 唔係IB, 咁其實學生上其他IS 時有冇適應問題?

剛剛見一個朋友的仔仔由其他IS kinder（不是ESF)轉去Anfield primary y1, 佢暫時幾滿意，比ESF會嚴少少，小朋友discipline不錯

兩者皆可自由選擇学制和課程, 分別在於 student mix: international - max 30% local students; private independent school - max 70% local.

as far as i know ... private independent school should be min. 70% local student but not max. 70%.....!!!  pls comments if i am wrong.

“International schools” is an administrative categorisation to describe a group of schools within the private school sector.
Some schools are first set up as a private school before being recognized as an international school.

「國際學校」屬行政上的分類，指私立學校體系內某一類學校
有些學校在開辦時為私立學校，其後獲認可為國際學校。私立學校與國際學校沒有顯著分別。

Anfield Primary未符合在EDB 認証為國際學校

強制規定
辦學團體如發展國際學校，應符合以下的強制規定。這些強制規定或會更改，申請團體應參考他們參加的校舍分配工作所訂的強制規定。

1.應把最少70%的學額分配予學校公開宣布服務的目標學生。目標學生指持有外國護照（英國國民（海外）護照除外）或持有學生簽證來港就讀的學生；
2.辦學團體須開辦適合國際學校的非本地課程。為應考本地考試或主要為升讀本地學校作準備的課程，概不接納；
3.辦學團體須利用有關的空置校舍及/或全新土地營辦國際小學、中學或中學暨小學。政府不會提供校舍或土地供營辦學前教育、幼兒中心、託兒所或幼稚園，但或會容許有限度營辦學前教育或幼稚園，條件是申請團體能夠證明這是小學課程的主要部分，並證明供小學及/或中學使用的空間和設施不會受到影響。批准與否會按個別情況考慮。擬辦的學校不應提供寄宿設施或利用該校舍及/或土地作為臨時校舍；
4.除了獲批撥全新土地的辦學團體可獲政府提供免息貸款外，辦學團體不會獲得政府任何經常資助金或非經常補助金。辦學團體營辦的國際學校必須以自負盈虧的模式運作，並須證明具有充足的財政支援，能夠進行所需的基建工程；
5.於每學年，辦學團體須預留款項，金額不少於國際學校學費總收入的10%，用以向有需要的學生發放獎學金及/或其他經濟上的援助；
6.辦學團體和在獲分配校舍或土地營辦的學校均須為根據《稅務條例》（香港法例第112章）第88條獲豁免繳稅的機構（「豁免繳稅資格」）。辦學團體亦須根據《公司條例》（香港法例第32章或自2014年3月3日起生效的香港法例第622章（如適用））註冊成立，而其章程細則須包括分配校舍或土地所需的全部標準條文；或根據其他條例註冊成立，而教育局常任秘書長在審閱其章程後，認為可獲考慮分配校舍；

為鼓勵海外辦學團體和未有在本地營辦國際學校的新辦學團體參與校舍分配工作發展國際學校，豁免繳稅資格並非參加分配工作的先決條件。儘管如此，出示有關豁免繳稅資格的證明文件，是獲分配校舍或土地的其中一項條件。成功申請的團體及其國際學校均須每年向教育局確認仍具備有關資格地位；

7.在不影響學校的日常運作和學生的安全的情況下，辦學團體須因應要求開放校舍及設施，供政府和社區作教育、社區或其他活動之用；

8.申請團體須提供領事館或商會發出的推薦信，表明該領事館或商會支持申辦的學校，以及其參與營運該校的方式（如有）。其目的是為確保申請團體所提供的服務將能滿足領事館所代表國家的國民和商會成員的需求。

MIng Wai 是"幼稚園"，不可和 "小學" 比較
香港的幼稚園是大多是私立，沒有直資或津貼，可自由去選擇選擇學制和課程,
幼稚園不在9年強迫教育內，故教統局沒有執行開ＩＳ的強制規定

St. Catherine's International, York International，Boxhill International, Joyful International, Funful International, Anchors Interantional, Antonia International(荃灣麗城)...........
掛INTERNATIONAL在頭，我們相信該校就是IS嗎？

ANFIELD跟高主教，啟思，St. Clare's，Gigamind...etc同屬私立英文小學

若小學／中學不是IS，便不能掛INTERNATIONAL在校名誤導家長，政府有監管的。
元朗宏信早幾年聲稱是IS,IB SCHOOL。
但該校還未得IBO認證，不能叫IB SCHOOL，不是IB SCHOOL學生不能參加考試的

From government definition, Anfield is a private school not an international school, meaning that can admit up to 70% of local passport students (IS only 30%). But if you have contacted Anfield before, you will agree that it is a very " international" school. In my mind, the mindset of educators, school philosophy, parents characters, curriculum, playground language etc would define a school as " international" better than the government definition. The latter is more for administrative purpose I think.

我媽咪60年代讀St. Clare's Girls' School，當年的全英語學校，上課／小息時學生都是全英語交談。ＩＳ不是這樣定義的，我相信當年港英政府，需要定義是有他的原因的。
就算梁愛詩,葉麗儀都說母校是私立英文學校

當年我妺妹也想報ＡＮＦＩＥＬＤ，後來詢問學校時，學校告知是私立小學，不是國際，國際收費的私立小學。　
我不是來挑戰各位家長，只是想將事實說出來，心裡明白有準備。

I agree with you. I have been to Ming Wai, York, Think, Creative and Anfield for my son's nursery class interview, and Learning Habitat's open day. Apart from the fact that Ming Wai and Think seemed to have quite a few Caucasian NET teachers, none of them actually striked me  as an international school except for Anfield. From the way they interviewed and interacted with the kids, to how much english was actually used in the school, and to the type of parents they attract, only Anfield gave me (and my husband and he is Australian) the gut feeling that yes Anfield is the closest we could get compared to an Aussie school.
