Could you tell me why you changed to other school from KTS ? And where is your son now studying ?
Someone say if ever studying in KTS would be more easy to change to other better primary school for P2. Is it that?

Then can you tell us what is the ranking of your son in P1?  Your son must be very smart, do you know how many students were accepted as P2 students in DBSPD?

May I know any preference for KTS to select some students from 'well-known famous" kinders during application?  If my son comes from not famous kinder, will it affect his chance?  What is the standard of KTS now?  Is it highly demanding?  Frankly speaking, I also graduated from KTS before.  Any advantage for my son to apply?  Hope you can give me some comments.  Thanks!

我仔仔只是普通幼稚園出身,不過KTS都收咗佢，今年九月入讀,但在面試當日我見不少名幼稚園的考生。
其實KTS都唔易考,我仔仔當日考了中英文重組句子、看圖答問題、中、英、普通話會話和計算，我聽到一些考生說考了串英文生字，但我仔仔就無考

Yes, I also know that it is not easy to apply for KTS and hope my son successful after 3 years.  

May I know whether you have any special training to your son during the kinder stage?  Joined any interest class?

My son also not from the famous kindergardens, but he also accepted by KTS,   as far as I know, the KTS interview is quite academical, like 中, 英, 數 must 考, 不會有筆試, 但KTS會provide D 中, 英, 數materia/picturel on the desk, then they will question your kid, like calculation, 重組句子, english vocab等.
May be you can give your child some K3 or P1上學期的exercise給他試做, 其實不一定要全部識做, at least懂7-8成已很好.
因最後有更心儀的私小收了阿他, 所以我沒有在KTS交留位費.

Hi Bravo,

Though KTS is a Chinese primary school, I heard that its English stardard is good. Do you mind telling me more about its English teaching method?  Are the English lessons taught by Native English Teachers?  Any reading schemes to encorage students to read?

I personally don't favor SFA though it is an excellent English primary school, I heard students there have loads of homework, tests and exams.  

I quite like TT as it adopts activity-based learning, students are mostly happy there.  But I have not much information about its academic standards.  Although KTS is a traditional school, do you think students have lots of pressure too?  Thanks !
