Any comments about this school (primary)?  Is it hard to get accepted?

yes, hard to get in.  Their Y1 (= LS Y1) asks the students to learn 2000 characters so that they can start independent reading.  Not every student manages to learn the 2000 characters in Y1 of course, but that will definitely put the child in top tier.  So I imagine it is normal to learn at least 1/2 in Y1 and probably the rest by Y2.  In fact, my friend who moved her child from a well-known LS to ISF said that ISF's Chinese standard is even tougher!  They learn a lot of traditional Chinese poetry, 弟子規, 三字經, etc. Class size is small - I think around 18.  So the children do get the teacher's attention.  I find that the students do switch easily between English and Mandarin.

I like the fact that they have a family library card so the moms could go in and pick out books for the kids - 8 books each time at a very well-stocked library.  Of course, the school fees says it all.

Seems that they have a large proportion of mainlanders compared to other IS - although technically, ISF is not an IS.

Their academic standard is quite high - I guess it's not for the faint-hearted.  I see happy kids, but it is a demanding school.

I think most international / private / IB school is hard to get a place now.

Thank you for your detail reply!  My friend's daughter just got accepted by the school, so I just want to know some information about it>

They have foundation year which is meant for Local K3 or in some case if small baby equivalent to primary 1.
