請問英國大學一般等幾耐才回覆conditional offer?阿仔同學入UCAS遲我仔數天但佢已以收到兩所院校回覆。一間仲系在兩天內收的( U of Manchester),好似太兒戲!是否與選系有關呢?佢修Faculty of Science (Chemistry). My son's choice is Mechanical Engineer but not the same unis. Are U of Bristol & U of Sheffield have higher admission requirement? The overall predicted grade of my son have both * and 5*.

Too many factors.  No hard and fast rules (except for Oxbridge and medicine).

No worries. Different universities have different schedules. Even different subjects in the same university have different schedules too.
Some universities are fast in giving conditional offer. For example, Warwick gives offers within a few days to 1 or 2 weeks. Heard that Bath & Bristol are fast too.

For Imperial, heard that Biology and Chemistry are quite fast. Math is slow this year. Offers just out a week ago for applications submitted in Oct. Physics not yet out.

Better check with classmates applying to the same subject and the same university.

The UK chat room "the student room" offers some clues too. Students will discuss when they receive offers.
