ESF Kinder interview all applicants

Just checked with the ESF kinder that starting from this year will interview all applicants, how come this happened? Anyone has an idea?

Interview all applicants? I seriously doubt the validity of this, however, with the opening of a new kindergarten in Tung Chung, the overall availability of places is increased which should make admission a little easier, but that is always offset by increasingly more local parents wanting to avoid local schools.

Where did you get this info from? How could they carry out the play visit in just a day? I doubt but it seems really happening. Parents that I know who are applying for Tung Chung, Hillside and Tsing Yi all got chances for a play visit. Having said that, no one so far in EK has complained about not being.given a chance.

If they interview all applicants, they probably have some kind of selection criteria other than simply testing if they understand English then.

Nop, we didn't get chance for a play visit from hillside.

I guess different campus has different approach, but as I heard Tsing Yi and Wu Kai Sha will interview all applicants.

I saw at least three.  if it is only three, I believe they only interview 3 x 7 children in each 45 mins. In other words, it seems there are around 210 nos in 10 time slot

If they have 90 spots for outsider, fair enough for ratio 2:1
