Part 1, the Deputy Head Teacher will lead a stoy telling session. Basically warm up and see whether the child will cry or not, can sit calmly or not.
Part 2, meet with one of the two class teachers. Will sit around a table with the teacher. Will ask what is your name, and depends on the toys, might ask the child what is the toy, what colour is it or what's the shape. Then will ask the child to pass the toy to the mum or dad. I believe is to test whether the child could understand English and could follow simple instructions. During this session, the Head Teacher will walk around to talk to the parents one by one. She will ask the parent what playgroup the child is studying, is it bilingual or trilingual. And you can ask information about the school. |
