用英國護照去英國讀書，到達後有甚麼手續要辦？

我家的英國passport是好多年前經居英權得到的。全家都無在英國住過。
細女下年會到英國讀中4，到讀大學時，已經夠居住3年的資格去用英國學生的身份交本土生學費。

我想問，個女到英國後，我要幫她辦理甚麼手續嗎？會唔會要領身份證之類的文件？

到讀大學時，我又要點證明她已在英國生活3年以上？

在英國領使館的綱頁都找不到資料，所以想問問大家。

這個居住了三年的資格，並不它括單純在英國讀書的年期。 大學 admission 一欄，有詳細列明。

持英國護照抵英後，沒有特別手續要辦。 學生以護照代替出世紙，辦理入學及銀行開戶口事宜。

你個女如要比local rate大學學費，一定要有一個英國的本土住址才符合ordinary resided的定義，另外要有National Insurance Card, 並不是在英國讀滿三年書就可以。

另外，我所識的朋友有幾個就算符合本土居民的資格，為了他們的子女能更易入Oxbridge, Imperial及LSE, 他們都唔會選擇用本土生條隊去申請，因用海外生申請通常成績會收低少少。

I guess it's an old info as Us prefer overseas students as they paid overseas fee. Now the local fee also increased a lot and the gap is narrower.

Nowadays, some HK quota are shared with mainlanders, the chance become slim and the admission requirements are higher than before.

據我所知, 雖然大學想藉收 Overseas 收多D學費, 但係政府對大學收 Overseas Vs Local 係有比例上嘅限制.

Two points to clarify:
1. The admission percentage of overseas applicants is normally lower (i.e. more competitive), at least for oxbridge
2. Overseas qualifications are usually more demanding than GCE A level results in conditional offers
