Can't agree anymore. I just want to say some words for the principal. She is really dedicated and willing to spend time to  each applicants which is so time  consuming for principal. I believed the reason why she insisted to do it since she wants to give chance to every child and try know each of her students at the beginning stage. There are no other principal like her spending so much time in interview.

And for the school curriculum , although it is not so difficult as some " first-tier" kindergartens, but I really appreciate their belief . They aim at training up the learning attitude and reading interest of the child.  This is not only a " selling point" or " decroation" , but they insist to do it and do it every day , every month and every occasion.  It is not a easy work for all teachers and for school management, but they can do it.

I am so happy that my girl has the opportunity to have this happy school life . Up to now , in terms of knowledge , may be she is not in the top-tier, but I am so happy that she has been built up a good reading habit and high motivation to learn which is much more importance than just know the knowledge. Hope my personal experience can give a balance view of SSGCK and the Principal.

趙校長在K2尾單獨接見每一對父母(60對遂對見），傾談小學自行和統一派位選校（因應女兒性格），並對父母的直資及私立選校提意見。交統一派位前又再見一次，統一派位派不到又再見面討論叩門計劃。我相信應沒有其他幼稚園校長會花那麼多時間向每對家長提意見。

她很愛鍚她的「仔仔女女」，希望他們每個也有令她放心的「好歸宿」。

st stephen's girls college is far better than st stephen's in stanley...

may i check with parents of current students what is the chance of 叩門if failed in lucky draw？ and if elder sister accepted, would younger sister be accepted automatically?

My daughter finished the interview last week and the school gave me a quite good overall impression.

As mentioned by many of you, the teacher in 1st part was nice and patient.  With regard to the principal, I didn’t feel she was fierce though she didn’t smiling much, she was just serious in choosing the right candidates to her school.  

Some of the questions were really not easy for a 2 years old kid but I don’t think they are looking for a kid who can answer all questions.  They are looking for the kids with the right manner and attitude, at least will try the best to answer the questions.  My daughter had interaction with both the teacher and the principal during the interview.  Although she could not provide right answers to all questions of the principal, I felt that the principal were leading her to give correct answers.  

Further, I was impressed by the interview questions.  They were not routine questions like others but creative which aiming at finding out smart kids.  I think they have spent a lot of time in designing the questions since they are quite all-rounded.

我一向都知道這是一所非常好的學校, 在我心目中比赤柱的那所學校好得多, 無論是比較學術, 音樂或校風, 只不過現今很多家長認為赤柱的是直資, 學費貴, 一定係超班的學校。我不是說赤柱的不好, 只是比較上中西區這所女校好得多, 但他們很低調, 所以不是很多家長知道。
我當年也有帶女兒考這所幼稚園, 但好可惜她也怕趙枚長的威嚴, 最後我不想她讀得不開心, 所以放棄了。如果早一點聽到這個帖內的資料, 可能我的決定會與當天不同。

請問此校英文是否如application form 所說的淺易?

我有親戚的女兒在此校就讀,家庭聚会有其他說英文的同齡小朋友,對答方面顯得不自然自信不足欠通暢.

If you focus in English, you may consider private schools like Victoria or international school like esf, kcis etc.  I believe ssgk focus on student's moral training and religious studies more than academic and language training. There's no perfect school, but most suitable for your daughter.  For me, I focus more on religious studies and moral training especially for girl, so I transferred my daughter to shck k1 from victoria bilingual pn.

小學是中文小學, 英文教得淺唔出奇, 不過好多同學自幼稚園已經在外補英文, 其實班裏面流利英文的同學都唔少.  出唔出外補是個人選擇.
