考 DBS 呢類直資神校，預咗唔得，成功就係 special bonus, 因太多舊生、有關係人士和達官貴人了。之前朋友的兒子連2nd in都唔得，但到後期因撘路成功入讀。考學校好講關係，小朋友叻都未必有用，除非好 exceptional 仲要喺面試表現到出來。

I also think that these top schools have to, for whatever reasons, do some favour to some candidates and they would have "straight in". But i guess the school management would at least make the admission system "appears" to be fair to avoid criticism. So i doubt whether the school would make special arrangement to some candidates publicly.
