ESF Tung Chung campus application

請問如果我申請東涌campus, 但依家住係港島可以申請嗎?因為學校要求寄返Address Proof copy,可寄港島嘅嗎?如果考到,我地係
唔介意搬近D. TIA

ESF kindergartens do not go by zones, so anyone living anywhere could apply to the kindergarten of their choice, but during assessment the residential address will be taken into consideration and the school is likely to prefer children living nearby for obvious reasons. So on the application form you should write something to convince them that your move to their vicinity is a certainty rather than "if my child is accepted then we don't mind moving".

If we applied for Tung Chung campus, can we change the campus ( say the Wu Kai Sha Campus) if they give us an offer later?

They would try, but pending on the space available in the corresponding campus.

We lived in Tung Chung for almost 5 years before we moved back to HK Island due to my son gotten accepted by an IS of our choice, and I must say TC is a great place for raising an Interntionally minded child. The expat community there is friendly and open minded, unlike those in the city, and neighbourliness is superb. There is an increasing quantity of quality children's activities, including soccer, rugby (organized by dads), gymnastics, and even capoeira! My son had lots of friends from all over the world there, and I must say we miss Tung chung dearly now that we've left.

Hi, I didn't apply Tung Chung, but applied hillside instead. Not yet get any feedback from them so far.

Hello.. We are living in tsing yi but we are thinking if we should apply the tung chung esf instead of tsing yi..  I heard that the tsing yi campus is really competitive so we r wondering if it would be easier to get into the tung chung one.. What's your thought?

Tung Chung is completely new and so a total unknown, but what is obvious is, the demand on Tsing Yi kindergarten should be less than in previous years. Before the Tung Chung kindergarten came along, children living on Lantau Island used to apply to Tsing Yi and they will now be applying to Tung Chung instead.

Yes they require address proof, like a utility bill with the parent's name on. It is one of the supporting documents which should be sent to the school after submitting the application online.
