不如咁講agent都要生活，除介紹學校外，介紹guardian都有回傭，冇錢賺就話同果間學校冇接觸，幫唔倒你等藉口。。。。有空上多幾間agent一問會淸楚，我自己試問同一學校經三間不同agent,間學校答不能收我的小朋友，因傭金三間都要。

In fact, UCAS is pretty user friendly, a G12 or G13 students are confident enough to file the application, as a parent, I only need to fill in my credit card details only.

An agent is not critical, I see many web pals and friends even through an agent, they can't guarantee to get in a better university.

and wisdom to know the difference.

Follow Waichung1962 and Shootastar's suggestions, to follow the guideline from UCAS and answer the questions clearly.

Find a Native English Teacher or a friend to proofread the personal statement, will be fine.

女兒也傾向自己apply，況且明年入學時已超過18歲，找監護人的手續也可免了。只是煩了要自行簽visa/找宿位等瑣碎事而已。

找別人較對personal statement啲，盡量保持小朋友的原汁原味，睇吓文法有冇錯及內容是否充實，比啲意見小朋友添加什麼材料就得了，如果修改得太大，學校一睇便知，反為弄巧成拙。

女兒趁暑假有多點時間已把statement寫好，也給英文補習老師作適當批改，可隨時上載了。

因近月才決定報,所以未有一早準備。他已開始寫,打算找學校老師幫忙proof read。

不過還想知道在填報UCAS的過程中，是否有地方可以填入在港所修讀的7+1科目(包括數學延伸部分M2)的中四/五成績及明年才有的HKDSE成績。

因為小女在UK讀到yrs11及轉讀foundation，據佢講yrs10及11的成績都有地方輸入，因此我理解可以輸入的，另外正本成讀要做成PDF檔比佢，必須每日跟進資料。另外UK老師會有佢地啲UCAS户口(不過要用老師身份登入)，比喻輸入老師推薦信、學生學歴等。香港就唔知係米咁了。

personal statement有限字數，好似最多不能超過4000個字母，最少唔記得了。

女兒2015 考DSE,目標是在讀醫科或有關學科，但突然又想如果失手會考慮到英國升大學。現在正急考IELTS試，在UCAS看到醫科10月15日便截止報名，不知可否先行報名，IELTS試的成績可後補嗎？

聽agent講，雖然可以補交文件，普通科目如在截止前交齊成績文件，大學無論有conditional offer或reject都會在明年3-4月有通知的。但早截止的醫科或oxbridge等就不知是否可以了。
