有監管的，通常是包保險和合法的，當然自己要去有關網頁睇睇：

Is this airport taxis uk reliable?  I want to reserve a taxi to pick up from Heathrow to London city centre.

I used LHR taxi company. Heathrow to city centre £44.

英國搭的士多數都係預早 book, 無問題架，大可放心，book 左之後佢地會 send 個 confirmation email 俾你。我已經試過好幾次，你亦可以上佢地個網 check 間公司資料

不過如果由 Heathow 往返 London，我多數坐 underground 都好方便，又唔怕塞車

Heathrow by Road: Taxis, Private Hire(Minicabs) and Coaches..

• Taxis:  (Heathrow Ranked).
  Taxis hailed from outside Heathrow can be expensive. Fares to central London are subject to metering (by TfL), but the meter runs up at a high rate, and you should not be surprised by a £100 fare. Taxi drivers are very knowledgable about London though, having obtained the famous knowledge test, which can make an interesting ride. This said, financially it is often better, if you want to travel by taxi, to book a private hire/minicab in advance.
• Pre-booked Licensed Private Car (& Driver) Hire: (Airport Transfer Service/Minicab)
  Pre-booked Licensed minicabs are often cheaper than taxis and more comfortable for longer journeys. You can search on-line for  "London Heathrow Airport Transfer Connections" or similar. Pre-booking (by card) is standard and saves having to fumble about finding currency at the airport. Most professional airport services will meet you inside the airport terminal, and take you directly to your destination. Price vary and you get what you pay for. Average fare for a decent (executive) airport transfer to central London ride should be around £55-£60 per vehicle (up to 4 passengers). There are cheaper services, and chauffeur services charge more.

我是抵達 Heathrow 之後才 call 車，十分鐘之後便有車在 car park 接應。

We have 4 luggages and don't want to bring them up and down the underground, that's why we need to call cab.

I used to have one but he over-charged us last time and therefore this time we want to try a new one!

They can't overcharge you because the deal has to be agree on the phone. They'll ask you the no. of people and big luggages so that they quote you the price.

I paid £41 for cab and £3 for car park fee. Three people, four luggages.
