ESF kindergarten 會唔會教寫字 幾時教 同有功課嗎？

Not sure about if same applies to all ESF kinder but my daughter didn't have any homework at all few years before. Yes, they learnt writing alphabets and algebra in kinder.

I thought ESF kindergarten won't teach any writing number/alphabet in K1 and K2

They do teach number/alphabet writing at school time, as well as pattern drawing

They don't write much in K1, and a child is physically not ready to write before the age of 4 (although local schools press on with it very early on). For K2 kids they do learn to write, and should be able to write their own names by the end of K2. Although ESF kids (without outside tuition or taught by parents) do tend to have poor hand writing,  they do excel later in life so there is no problem with it, unless the child cannot get into ESF primary or another similar IS afterwards.
