見VICTORIA係行IB但聽人講呢幾年愈教愈深
想問下而家讀緊既家長睇下K2,K3既程度
例如數學幾時會教7+6, 8+7 呢D要進位既數學
幾時開始要抄寫中文字呢?

Truth is,  Victoria curriculum has never been very easy.  The fact that kids were not sent with pile of mechanical homework did not mean kids learnt nothing in school.

睇下K2,K3既程度
The ability of kids vary in a very large degree depending on the learning attitude, ability and parental support.  Some kids read chapter book in K3, while some could only read ORT level 4.  IB is a very flexible program. For those high flyers, they will be assigned more complicated reading homework and the teacher's expectation of their written assignments are higher.  But the teachers won't push the kids.  It is up to your kid to demonstrate his ability so that the teachers will accommodate.  Personally, I wish the teacher would demand more.

This contrasts sharply with traditional schools where the same formula is applied to all.  The good thing about this is that all students will at least attain a certain standard, but those will higher abilities will not flourish.

幾時開始要抄寫中文字呢
Unfortunately, to cater to parent's demand and to ease their worry.  Daily 抄寫中文字 in K2.  Some parents like it.  I don't really.

To give you an idea of K2 term 2 English.  An average student will be able to write (independently, no help from parents or teachers) a description of a picture in English with roughly 50 words as classwork.  True, kids will need to work on the spelling and punctuation.  But expressing their thoughts in English is without difficulty as they have at least 1 hour of NET learning environment each day.

Victoria math curriculum, in many ways resemble the Montessori approach which focuses on mathematical concepts rather than drilling.

Yes lots of Victoria kids go for outside Math classes, not unlike students from other kindergartens.

因為我本身想幫小朋友讀ＩＳ同行ＩＢ　見ＶＩＣ有VSA Priority所以想瞭解多Ｄ
照你咁講Ｋ２已經開始寫英文同中文字。。。咁Ｋ１開始未呢？
其實我自己唔係咁ＢＵＹ小朋友太細開始要佢執筆寫字　亦都唔想小朋友咁細個學太難既知識
另外想問下幾間ＶＩＣ課程會唔會有分別？　因為見佢網頁得何文田，寶翠園同ＣＷＢ　ＶＩＣ係用ＩＢ課程

As far as I know from fellow Victoria parents, there are slight differences amongst campuses and even classes within the same campus.

But in general writing training starts in K2.

Very true indeed.  2approx 200 personal.debentures plus  some corporate debentures
