今日到學校取了單張，15-16 學費 $55000，比上年加了$5000

，新生仲要比Capital and Building Maintenance Fee!

Yes. But the increased school fee and the composite fee over 5-6 yrs is making up the sum of 30000.

The composite fee is suppose to cover stationary and printing materials and Sch trips etc. Tbh i just don't understand why it needs to be increased when the 30k is removed. Should be 2 different things.

Also 6k composite fee is way too much even for an IS. My fds from different IS. eg one said they are charged 2500 a yr and by the end of the yr. still have some money left in the account. Although it may not inc. any Sch trips. But what kinda trips u go to and how many trips u go locally that needs 3-4k a yr? I would rather knowing the breakdown and knowing what I am paying for.

I also learned from the website that from y3 onwards. Composite fee is 9k...

OMG!

They changed the school fee again!

2 days ago I saw that year 1-3 is $55000 per year plus $5500 composite fee.

$9000 is a bit high, maybe many people not willing to pay the maintainace fee????

hope the school will decrease the composite fee.

when I apply school for the kids, the tuition fee is HK&5000, the fee was increased to 5,500 a month before, and now, the fee is increased to 6,000. I don't expect that. What happen if it increases again, I don't expect to pay that much money for tuition fee.

Anyways. What I really care about is the 15-16 fee for the new students. With the rapid increase and inconsistency in the proposing fee is a real concern to many parents I believe...

我本來打算報下年Year1,現在決定不考慮.
可能新校各方面的定位都不成熟。或者見市場需求及報名人數增加而大幅加學費。其實校方應該心裏有數他們現階段target哪些學生，亦要看遠一點如何令現有學生留下並有歸屬感。學費可以海鮮價,那遑論其他教學上的安排.
其實說到底這並非一所international school,而是一間新的私立英文學校而未有任何成績,學費要追著其他well-established既real IS，似乎有點......

Indeed. KCIS is 72000 inc. misc. fees. But it is a much more established through train Sch with good igcse and ib results. And their Chinese level is very gd too. Just that we don't live in hk island so will not consider.

I just confirmed with my fd that about RC. 2500 misc fees a yr inc printing materials and Sch trips. She said still had some money left by the end of 1st yr.

I really want to send my child to ymca. Think it could be a gd Sch. But Just very hard to justify the cost when comparing with other schools out there...little disappointed since they announced the change of fees tbh ...

點同RC比,大家都明啦,RC的收費，就佢地提供的，其實絕對配合.

其實話時話考Cambridge English已經嚇我一跳，我第一次聽IS students會考這些for non-native 的英語測試,仲納入課程.
