Hi there. My son will be going to KJS Y1 in the coming school year. I'm interested to know if there are any future Y1 parents in this forum too? My son is not from ESF kindy so would like to get to know more KJS parents.

We didn't do anything in particular to prepare for the interviews, but my boy has lots of opportunities to speak English at home and during playdates even though he studies in a local kindy. And don't forget about parent interview as we spent roughly 25 min in the room chatting with the teacher. I can tell the school really wants to get to know the parents and the way we raise our kids. Good luck!

Anyone knows if it's wise to drive to school next week? I'm guessing there's probably not enough parking space on the streets? Any parents have experience in the previous year? Thanks in advance!

May I ask if most admitted kids r in Cat 1? And they only accept application in specific school zone, right?! many many thanks~
