Shadeslayer, I agree too, but many top IS doesn't start until Reception (K2), and even the private schools doesn't start until PN the earliest, so YCIS is a good place to stay for both a quality early childhood education as well as a backup through-train school for kids under 2 years old.
[New note: I just found that Victoria Kindergarten can start early as well, but only at 8 months of age, plus we all know going from Victoria Kindergarten to VSA primary for existing students itself is a huge fight, so by comparison for a baby about to start applying for schools, YCIS is a safe & good option]
Just a reminder that GSIS, Harrow, Kellet & DBIS etc should all apply from birth as well.
