My girl study at hampton loft not 康城. Subject to what u want. If ur target is internatonal and very free style, then it is  not ur cup of tea.

When u want to find a "好“ school, u need define what is ur and ur kid concern

True. Whether it is good or not depends very much on your expectation. If you are targeting at local schools, LH LP is training your kids in adapting to the hk education systems. My daughter is studying in LH LP, it's true, the curriculum is sometimes too demanding, especially the Chinese writings, hw and the dictations in K3. It is hard for me sometimes, but I would say, if the school doesn't train my kid to be so 'competent', how can my kid compete with the others in the p1 interviews? I know it is not healthy, but under the hk education system, if without the school's years of gradual training, my kid would not have been admitted to several of my targeted primary schools, and I hope she can have get accustomed to the p1 curriculum soon given her strong foundation in languages, both eng and PTH, built in LH for four years.

If you are targeting at international schools, favoriting free styles of learning, then definitely, LH dies not suit you.

By the way, back to some points about LH LP. In fact, the curriculum is the same across the four campuses.

What I treasure most is the school-based story books made prepared by the schools. I have got some friends studying in same famous kg even ask me for the story books. Visits are organized for the kids to explore, such as visits to the MTR station, legco building, dental clinic, fire station, hk park, etc. parent-school cooperation is strong, there are two parents' interviews, one lesson observation, and two tea gatherings with the principal every year. The support to p1 interviews is very strong. Talks are organized, inviting former parents to share about the interview questions and tactics, more importantly, LH offers free interview classes in the second term of K2 and first term of K3 which I find very very useful.

Abt the disadvantages, some teachers in LH LP are quite new and young. They may not have much experience. I worry at first too, but I don't always have very high expectation, as long as they are kind and patient, I am satisfied. Turn out I am satisfied with the teachers. Moreover, as I mentioned in the last post, the curriculum is a bit demanding.

Although demanding but the school will not just consider academic. They more  emphasie on the balance academic and behaviour. There is no exam and test on the kids. During last two parents meeting, teacher just ask me concern on the feeling express of the kid and no need worry on academic
