Is it the result for this year? That's an improvement. Two years ago when i checked their record, none went to these schools you've listed. So i went to back review Victoria's record--

(2011-2012: No CIS, CDNIS, or GSIS)
(2012-2013 and 2010-2011: CIS & CDNIS 1 each, no GSIS)
(2009-2010: 3 CDNIS, no CIS or GSIS)

I guess this is the first year there's one going GSIS. Note too that, at least in the past, students going to the top IS is still a minute percentage amongst a total of 500-700+ graduates.

The school shows only K3 placement result.  And those to international school left after K2 so it is not shown on the result.

I know there are some joining ESF, ISF and HKIS.

Probably, they want to make themselves a school that can move on to local systems than IS.

我個小朋友, 佢個班好幾個冇買debenturn都有parents' meeting offer. 收吾收就吾知啦！好似係收240位，加多一班，8班。

如果他們收多無debenture 的，他們的debenture 的發行非常失敗。其實發debenture 並無不妥，清楚說明發多少便可。去年debenture info session 他們說收生跟debenture 沒関係兼發行五十張。我聽到時第一個反應，邊個買?

我聽到去年有媽媽無買的係好後期收到interview 機會。佢最後無揀到。

They left Victoria to join Reception year in CIS, GSIS..etc.  Hence not listed on the P1 allocation.


It isn't commonplace  to 插班into international school directly after K3 to join their normally Yr 2.

True. My son just got into one of the IS listed above for Reception, and he is currently age 3.5
When he was younger, one reason we didn't try really hard to try to get into Victoria was because on their record I didn't see many kids going into the top IS, which was our true target. I guess I would've tried harder if I knew there are more.

I see.  Personally I really like Victoria because they do not drill kids into robots.

But I guess Victoria or the kids themselves should share only 60% of the credit of getting in top IS.  Those top IS interview parents too.  Which is very stressful to the whole family.


From what I observe, those who got into top IS are happy kids who enjoy playing and are very self motivated. They are always at ease and show interest in new.things .  Normal， healthy happy kids.

LOL, yup. I agree on the normal healthy happy kids part! For the 3 IS my son got into, only one interviewed the parents. The others had lengthy questionnaires but it rested mainly on the interview, and I think finding a good kindergarten to prepare the child well is part of the equation. Anyhow I guess Victoria doesn't need more advertising as it is very well received by parents already ;)

Totally agree, I don't know why many parents they complaint about the preschools for not getting into a good primary school. I do believe this really depends on the child and luck. Most important thing is 家教. Those teachers can ask and test how good your children are

Yup, and for IS it does depend on the English language skills of the parents. One cannot rely on that 3 hours per day at school (esp given Victoria uses 2-3 languages) plus whatever broken English the domestic helper can put together. Many IS look for native English speaking kids, so parents need to put in the effort if English is not their first language.

Yes u are right. Some of the ISs also test parents' English as well.
