If compare with mainlanders, may be just mediocre.

The official speaker from CU Medic Admission told talk attendants on 21/6 that they admitted ALLcandidates with 41 points while only one with 40.5 was admitted last year.  Is your information accurate about 41.5 being rejected or purely a rare case being rejected for "not showing proper attitude to become a good doctor" (as how they put it) or some other reasons?

Anyways, there are two successful cases with 35(4c+2x) 41(4c+3x) points being admitted in 2013. One of them took chem/bio/econ, the other took phy/chem/bio. According to the student helper's information delivered yesterday, DSE candidates with 41 points or above are very likely  to be given an offer from CU medic provided that the interview performance is satisfactory.

If all candidates with 41 (4C+3X) are admitted, does it mean that CU counts merely academic results regardless of interview performance? Tks.

I think "All candidates" means the students with 41 (4C+3X) and "satisfactory performance in the interview".

Obviously it is impossible for medic to intake students only by considering the results, esp. CUHK medic which counts more on the interview. In CUHK medic's interview, the format is 2 prof. vs 1 student, which can really test the students' ability to deal with difficulties (prof. like to ask difficult questions and require immediately responds).

Earlier in this post, there is a student with 41.5 (4C+3X) but he is also rejected by CUHK med. I can be sure there are some other cases.  In addition, in the old HKALE, even 3A students can be rejected by medic.

Interview maybe isn't really important in other subjects, but is crucial in medic.
