其實大家不用太介懷那些"個人意見"。作為一個成熟的家長應該知道別人的意見並不一定是真理，不竟每人的情況和客觀環境不同。我深信好的學校不會因誰說它不好會變得差，反之亦然。

我相信大部份幼稚園老師都是有愛心的，其實一些所謂"沒愛心"的表現又有多少人知道事情的前因後果？往往大家只會怪責老師做得不夠好，但又有多少人真的虛心檢討孩子本身的問題，自己教養上的不足或對老師是否尊重等因素。

其實孩子入讀那一間幼稚園就是否有較大機會入讀某一間小學？
況且就算真的順利入讀某小、中、大學又代表什麼？

大家可能一時間忘了教育的本質是什麼?

或者看看現在香港的社會問題可能會有所啓發。

may I avoid the argument, 真心求教, different campuses of victoria really differ so much?  or whether the school has been IB accredited?  I think they will all be accredited, its just the matter of time?  I chose lower kornhill because it's close to my place.  And I thought CWB will have limited spaces to offer those without connections, so I wanted to play safe.  I am very grateful that I have the offer now.  

Is it really less good?

老實説，用pn班的程度看Vic之後K1-K3程度都是淺實在有點斷章取義及武斷。個人覺得pn班主要是學習群體生活，認識身邊事物，而認字方面其實家長在家教已可達到大家想要的效果。大仔在Vic讀K3，老師已根據小朋友不同程度給予書籍回家閱讀，程度絕不淺，是兒童小説，已沒有彩色圖畫，大仔已看得津津有味。而我的細仔則在Vic讀pn,老師重視的不是小朋友學了多少知識，而是小朋友與同學、老師相處如何？願意與人分享嗎？真的感謝pn老師的無條件付出，願意whatsapp家長，傾小朋友情況，甚至能家校合作，糾正小朋友的行為問題。我的細仔極怕醜，在老師的特別處理下，已大有改變。上pn班正是如此，從無後悔讓兩個小朋友讀Vic。

Yes. I also want to say i am parent of lower kornhill victoria. I don't find any problem with the teachers and the teachers are super nice. Maybe ur friend's kid super 'smart'.
BTW, i gave up st cat for lower kornhill PN last year and not regret at all!

I totally agree. I don't think there is problem with the teaching and I never expect PN class teachers already 教d BB '曉飛'！

佢有冇試過強迫小朋友 say Thank You?  我嗰班有.  感覺好瞓導主任 Feel, so my girl afraid of her.
可能有些家長喜歡.  To be fair, she will give comments to parent in how to teach their kids.

My girl loves the English teacher more, lovely speaking tone and don't act like 瞓導主任 . : )

Anyway, we better not discuss here as this is out of topic.  : )

My girl attended Vic PG at HG campus. She has attended both weekday and weekend classes (after they cancelled weekday classes). All four teachers (as well as 嬸嬸 during snack time) we encountered are very nice and caring!  My girl enjoyed very much.  The playgroup let us understabd more abt the way Vic teaches students to explore. The environment of the campus is very neat and tidy.  Just for sharing.

I think you should voice out the issues with the principal.  All Vic teachers are all very qualified and they will list out teachers' qualifications for parents' reference.  I'm not sure if st cath or other kindergartens will do the same.  Many Vic teachers are having master degree or PhD.

However, Vic teachers tend not to correct students spelling or grammar at their early age so as not to affect their learning interest.  Maybe your teacher was doing the same?

I haven't attended playgroup or PN at Vic. Playgroup my kid attended are somewhat similar as what you described, tea time, story time, art & crafts, bye bye songs...

好得意，在 1-2 歲班時，兩小時會 keep 住 busy 唱歌，講故事，snack, 遊戲。但一升了上兩歲班後就有好多時間自遊活動，有啲吾明白目的是什麼。點都好，可能各 campus 及 class 都有不同。

I agree the full time students are all super good.

  But i also had bad experience with a sub teacher who wasn't familiar with my kid's super strong willed character and forced her up from the floor by tugging her arm too tight which gave her a pulled elbow.

My kid is not those obedient type and won't comply to strangers.


I did tell the teachers the next day about the doctor's visit to fix the elbow, but in an honest manner and not trying to "complain and be difficult".

Two days later they gave me an official reply  and promised to be extra careful next time.
When they bring in a sub teacher.

If something happened in Victoria which you think is not quite.right, inform the teachers and I believe something will be done.

I remembered both principals of CWB and LK mentioned during the school tour that all campus share the same curriculum because they are all under the same organization.  They also mentioned that the VEO will let all campus IB accredited but  just a matter of time.  I have confirmed with LK principal again during the 2nd interview.
