想問有經驗的家長，子女幾年班開始準備考這個試？ 是否很難考得好成績？

Usually the students would take SAT in May or June of Grade 11 (or one year prior to the final year). If needed, take a re-sit in October or November of Grade 12 (or the final year).It is not recommended that a student takes SAT for more than 3 times. It is also inadvisable to take the SAT earlier because you have to compete with those who learn for a longer period than you.

As far as I know, not most students would take tuition on SAT. However, you need to practice on your own whether or not you take tuition on SAT. Just buy two to three workbooks and complete them before the test.

多謝非常詳盡的資料，其實要兼顧多IB之如，又要考SAT都幾幸苦，小女不是尖子，她自己正在盤算想早點過去，逃避考SAT，而且最好是year 9，但我對美制一點認識也沒有，而且我的老公亦好想女兒伴在身邊到大學才過去，所以想找多點資料和有經驗的父母分享

Usually, the students would practice the SAT during the summer vacation of Grade 10. They will continue the practice until they take the first SAT test in May or June in Grade 11.

Am I misread your sentence?

Even the USA students to take SAT or ACT for University/ college entrance.  Early start in USA does not allow her to avoid SAT/ ACT.
