Any international school primary section intake accept application from a K3 kid

Hi all,

I understand that many international school primary section intake requires people around 4 to 5 year old kid (K2 level) to apply. My kid is now K2 and is going to apply some local schools in the coming September. How about international school? Is there anyone of them accept a K3 kid to apply for their first year? For example, I understand that ISF accept K3 student application years before. However, after it opens the class of reception year, they again accept people from K2.

Not sure about next year.  You should ask the school directly.  It might be less than previous years since class sizes has changed and there is a larger intake of foundation year for 14-15.

Am not familiar with other schools.  BTW, ISF is not an international school.  It is a private independent school

K2 apply Preparatory Class
K3 apply Grade 1

You can still apply to all international schools, but instead of reception, you apply for higher grades. It depends on whether they have spaces to accept any new kids and whether your kid can pass their admission test.  If your kid is in k2 now, you should have missed the application period for y1 (k3). You should apply for y2 which is equivalent to p1 in local schools. But then again, it will be hard as there are very limited space. Most students go up from reception class.
