If your mentioned school is LS, I doubt why LS will indicate that they will accept your son. LS is a very famous school that they do not have to do or say something to secure the source of students which will break the rules by Education Bureau. Quite strange!!

中学階段又是新一輪比拼，不見得楼主孩子定要追逐别人身影，他或会是在前帶領的也未可知……事實若真能在自行争一席位，已足見楼主孩子有其優秀之處

普通小學呈分考1x 同2x ,又冇特異功能，真係好難想像靠interview 的表現入2nd,令我想到是否給同學去上專業面試班比補習更有用。只是以事論事，不喜勿插。

O!! I see!! Apart from LS, do you know which school will "indicate" the acceptance? Will the indication be real at the end?

I think that it is no harm to the school (if no one complain to EDB) to indicate the acceptance but eventually they do not accept the student. The school is at no cost but the student pay the cost only.

照我所知,不單LS會明示,有D名校,都會咁做

I do not comment whether those 名校 to indicate the acceptance is right or wrong. If I were the student or parents that have the "indication", I will not disclose to others. It is because i) the nos. of "indication" may be more than the actual places; ii) someone who do not have the indication but applying for the same school may complain. [I am not applying for those 名校. Ha! Ha!]

Besides, admission to LS is not the end of the story but just the start of the game. Good luck!!!
