Question about extra curricular / after school activities at CKY

Hi, my son just got accepted to Year 1 at CKY for 2014/15, very excited!  I have questions about the extra curricular /after school activities at CKY: are there a lot of these for Year 1? Is it true that the school bus service does not wait for the children with after-school activities, and we have to arrange pick-up on our own?

Most of the extra-curricular activities are held on Saturday！After school activities are not that many!  And they are all optional.  School teams, such as orchestra and swimming team, usually practice after school.  But P1 students usually will not be picked to join the school teams unless the kids are very outstanding!

Yes, you are right!  No school bus will pick-up those students who join after-school activities!

Hi NIDmama, my girl will study Year 1 in 14/15.  I need to make a decision whether to cut her current ECA or not.  Would you please tell us what kind of ECA are held in Saturday?  Half day or full day?  Any school bus service (I guess no) and any lunch arrangement?

There are quite a lot of choices!  I will pm a list to u as reference!  The fee r quite reasonable!  There won't be any lunch arrangement cuz ECA ends at 12:30 to 13:00 depend on which activity u pick!  It starts at 8:30-9:00.  Each student can take 3 classes at most!  No school bus as well!
