my younger son isn't ready for school yet but I"m just wondering if there is any failure case.

I assume holding list means waiting list? which means 'eventually' they will accept the kid ?
sigh.. seems we have to get thru one stage then another stage @_@

可以申請小一統一派位(自己申請)，但是中文程度唔知追唔追得上，據知K1-P1的中文都教得好淺，尤其是寫字認字方面，反而P2開始程度會深不少，所以如果打算讀完P1, 轉去LOCAL小一，中文要自己好好下功夫。如果考直資，多數都係用廣東話考。其實KCIS都幾好，為何不打算一直升上去呢？

因為家庭唔係十分富裕。。。怕將來小朋友會比較或影響價值觀。。呢d唔係我貪唔駛考小學而值得博既。。。亦冇諗比佢去外國。。。所以。。怕送佢入錯學校

如果將來升小都只打算本地小學，咁讀返本地幼稚園好似啱些。始終係好唔同的兩條路。

將來kcis 學生。。。可連接香港既大學嗎？？係咪唔得架？定多數會選擇去外國升學？

可以用非聯招的方式(即類似海外學生咁)申請香港的大學，但非聯招生的學額係少好多，不清楚KCIS有幾多人升本地大學，但KCIS的入U率是99%，相信不少都是去外國讀，要不然入U率不會這麼高。

附帶一提，即使以非聯招生的身份入學，但有香港永久居民身份，仍是交本地生學費的。
