Did you also apply ESF for your child?

I didn't apply for ESF. I applied for YMCA (my daughter attending playgroup there). Still not sure what primary school we want.

By the way, what is CKY?

國際學校與sc是兩條路呀﹗如果決定讀esf，那是走國際學校路，相信很難回頭﹗相信如何選擇，還要看你想小朋友將來是否讀國際小學、中學，到外國升學﹗

這個最令人頭痛，問題是對她的小學我們仍未能決定。本來想讀國際學校，但也報了SC，最近老公忽然想個女讀本地學校，因可以讀中文、而且學費負擔較輕鬆！事實上我們發現個女講中文有口音，不想她在香港長大也剝奪了她學中文的機會。有想過讀SC之餘、下午讀國際學校，可以打好中英文基礎，將來再決定本地或國際，但對三歲小朋友來說，似乎太辛苦。

CKY=保良局蔡繼有, has become a rather popular private school recently. The discussion in the primary school section should give you a better idea of the school. BTW, My son also attended YMCA playgroup since 20 months old for 2 terms.

I see. My daughter started when she was 28 months old and this is her 3rd term there. Would you consider YMCA for Daniel too? Or you're only deciding between SC and ESF?

Won't consider YMCA because of the location. We live in Tai Wai. ESF Tsing Yi is 12-15 minutes' drive from our place while Kowloon Tong is only 5 minutes by train. TST is comparatively not a preferred location for us. Daniel started going to a local nursery when he was 28 months old and seems to be adapting very well. His Cantonese is very fluent now and he can recognize over 30 Chinese characters. Prior to attending local nursery, he was a bit like your daughter. (Cantonese with accent, and could not read Chinese at all). Chinese is a very difficult language to learn and I don't want to deprive his right of learning it at young age. I think I am more inclined to choosing SC at the end of the day.

我都是住青衣,校巴時間算幾好,但我個女平時訓到好晏(10點),我諗要調校一下喇

不要讓孩子走上安逸之路，教他面對挫折，要讓他有一種危機感，培養抗逆能力。

我都是住青衣, 會搭校車, 我都想轉讀上午班, 但上車時間都幾早，是7:40am，所以轉不到也無所謂,但同意讀上午班D時間會好用些。

有沒有人已經與學校联絡並安排參觀啊！請報料!

I don't live in Tsing Yi but I can provide you with some facts. There are discrepancies between the timetable provided and the actual situation. My son is going to Keen Mind Nursery by school bus and therefore I have had many chances seeing the SC school bus. According to the timetable provided, their SC bus picks up kids at my place at 12:20pm but it actually arrives at 12:40pm! Furthermore, it says the bus arrives home at 5:05pm but in fact, I have never seen their bus here earlier than 5:35pm. Current SC parents that live in your estate should be able to give you a better idea of the actual bus schedule.
