Thanks for all the first-hand sharing.  They are most useful!  

There are children commuting from Hk island to Kowloon tong. It should not be a big problem.  If your child is a girl, I would strongly suggest u focus on girls' dragon schools on HK Islands.  The P1 "battle" 3 years later would be vvv keen. Lucky you, there are more good girls' schools on HK island.

Thanks for your info.  Mine is a boy and, worse still, he is our second-child, and if we are lucky enough, his sister will be joining a girls' primary school, meaning that my boy could not really count on the central allocation system / lucky draw for his P1 admission.  That's why we need to find a kinder that could fully equip him for DSS / Private primary school interview.  

With this background, do you think KV should be our choice?

是否很喜歡民小。如果一般就Kv吧，除了可玩大抽獎遊戲又可考直資和私校做Back up。再玩扣門。而且到小一很容易適應。如果不想玩這遊戲就民小。不用煩。

完全同意各位kv 家長的意見，本人亦係k1 用家，kv 並唔係外間講到咁谷，老師真係好有愛心，我個仔係active 型，我又好重視紀律，另外工作又忙，kv 岩哂我呢類家長！！

小兒K1，今年入學前已經戒片，但因為經常忍到最後一刻才舉手要去洗手間，又或者去洗手間時弄濕褲仔而要麻煩姨姨更換。我曾經問過老師，她並沒有任何埋怨或責怪，更形容是「小事」。老師絕對明白各小朋友的成長階段，讚！

快既好似4-5月(第一次交雜費,校服費之後)! 我唔係第一輪轉到am架! 好似大慨6月先收到信轉到!

In respect of getting a place in DSS/private schools , none of the kindergartens can "fully" equip children to handle p1 interviews. The interview questions are just too difficult for their age.  U must work hard with your boy outside of the school too, such as signing up English classes with emphasis on oral eng . Kentville, nevertheless, provides a good foundation to help children transition to primary schools.

所以要自己衡量可受之風險....之前有人提過一個case，考GH、MS、PC、TT都不要，選了KV，自己考進另一神級小學...

謝謝回應。小兒面試時，老師第一條問會否考慮下午班，第二條問是否已戎片。小兒只是waiting ，我明白競爭太多，最後都可能無offer 。不過都想儘量多些瞭解KV。謝謝各位家長的分享。

無意計對任何幼稚園，只係想講kv適合小女同我地對教育既期望。幾好既學校，都有人唔適合。揀學校前，要先諗下小朋友適唔適，配唔配合自己個套。
