為何新概念學校不著重英文默書？

阿女小一。幼稚園有教letterland phonics,k3為加强reading.外出学jolly phonics。

P1 is not supposed to be good at spelling.  Relax.  Keep learning Phonics, reading and listening.

Agreed with you!  We still have to know how to write in Chinese and how to spell the words in Eng but should not put too much emphasis

請教,要是中文又有何提議? 當然是指除了閱讀外,如何認字?

中文也不需特別認字，只要多閱讀，加上平日做功課時的應用便足夠了。

其實我女兒的學校不谷，小一上學期沒有英默，我都沒有要求她要拿高分數，但她的case實在是嚴重...上了小一已有一個學期，簡單至 one to ten 的串法都未能好好掌握，不擔心才怪!!
